Steven Clark

B.A. History / Journalism Emory University, M.A. Middle Eastern History Georgetown University. Worked and lived throughout the Middle East, Europe, and D.C. Area. Moved every 3-4 years, and now live on our small farm in Black Mountain, NC spoiling grandkids, playing golf, hiking, kayaking, writing, and became a NC Firefighter at age 60, retired as the District Captain at French Broad Vol. Fire & Rescue Dec 2022.

Left San Antonio a year after graduation, and only returned 3-4 Times since. High school was not memorable, and haven't keep in touch with anyone from class. Grew up a lot after death of mom in 1978, and basically started life over at that point, and let go of everything and everyone in the past and looked forward to the future one day at a time since. Life is to be lived in the present, and to be enjoyed. Always leave a positive impact on those around you, and be compassionate to those who are in need.
